Providing continued support for the children that we are already supplying with meals and other necessities.
Expanding our Global Village Champions team to include people with diverse skills and a determination to make a difference in their World.
Encouraging people around the World to apply their caring attitude to their own community and help out a local food bank or volunteer their time and skills to help people who may be less fortunate.
We are determined to realize the vision of having provided One Billion meals to hungry people and fostering an atmosphere of hope for a better future.

Since 1995, Yank Barry and his Global Village Champions – most notably, three-time world heavyweight boxing title-holder Muhammad Ali – have traveled throughout the world to deliver hundreds of millions of free meals to the most needy living in virtually every, far-flung corner of the Earth.

As a longtime leader in the soy food industry, Yank Barry could not help but be moved as his business travels took him to destitute communities across the globe. He founded Global Village Champions Foundation as his philanthropic organization, and serves to this day as its chairman and chief advocate.

What began as modest, discreet gifts of soy-based meals to children and families where his commercial company did business, suddenly flourished when long-time friend Muhammad Ali offered to become the first Champion and global spokesman, challenging Yank to elevate and expand his philanthropy, and personally helped organize, lead and participate in meal-delivery missions to virtually every continent.

Beyond direct meal donations, Global Village Champions Foundation also has a proud history of partnership with other well-known, non-governmental organizations dedicated to serving the underprivileged, including the Red Cross, C.A.R.E., and the United Nations. To date, direct and collaborative life-sustaining food relief has been provided in Albania, The Bahamas, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burundi, Buryatia, China, Colombia, Congo (Brazzaville), Cote d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Liberia, Mexico, Morocco, Mozambique, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Peru, Philippines, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, South Africa, South Korea, Sudan, Turkey, Ukraine and Venezuela.
